Throughout this special two days Sharn will invite and support you to nourish your natural capacity for mindful living and share the insights and understandings she has gleaned from her decades of teaching, study and practice.

The supportive, mostly silent program includes guided meditation, mindful movement, walking, speaking, listening, observing and delicious, nourishing mindful meals.

Whether you are a complete beginner or you are wanting to deepen or renew your meditation and mindfulness practice, this retreat will give you the gift of time - time to simply be, to nourish your body, mind and spirit with stillness, spaciousness and silence. This is a precious opportunity to reconnect with simple pleasures and live life with a lighter heart.

This April school holidays, The Recky is the place to be for endless fun! Join us for a creative Paint and Sip kids' class, a Movie Night, and Crazy Daisy Disco—perfect for little dancers! Plus, don’t miss out on the incredible Reptile Show, where kids can get up close with some amazing creatures! With so many exciting activities, the whole family is in for an unforgettable time at The Recky.

It’s all about less screen time and more play time! This kids' Paint & Sip art class with Biripi Woman, Talara Morris will be leading this art lesson with the perfect blend of creativity and fun. In a safe, cultured and inspiring space, they’ll dive into paint, splash vibrant colours (without any mess at home!), sip on some juice, and follow along with our friendly artist. Talara will introduce them to new Indigenous artistic techniques whilst they learn about the meaning behind their artwork titled “Your Family.”

Walk alongside a NPWS Discovery Ranger and explore a vibrant life under the canopy of subtropical rainforest.

Also known as ‘The Brush’ and located beside the Manning River, this park is a significant roosting and maternity site for the vulnerable grey-headed flying fox.

Bring your binoculars and camera along for your chance to spot some fruit pigeons, bowerbirds and bats as we traverse Wingham Brush boardwalk.

Grading Easy. Suitable for adults and children aged 10 years and over.

Is this tour guided? Yes.

If for kids, do kids need to be accompanied by an adult? Yes.

Is the tour wheelchair accessible? Yes. The eastern section of this boardwalk, from the end of Farquhar Street along Graham Allen walking track and Flying Fox loop, is suitable for wheelchairs, prams, and visitors with limited mobility. This section consists of raised timber and fibremesh boardwalk.
