Our Operations North department are looking for an experienced Grader Operator to join the team. Based from our Gloucester Depot, this position requires someone with demonstrated plant operation experience and knowledge of road, bridge and drainage construction and maintenance techniques. The successful candidate may also be required to operate other plant machinery (including rollers, loaders, excavators, backhoes, tractors, trucks, and water carts). The Specialist Operator will be required to undertake labouring duties where required.

Please note that to be a successful candidate for this role you’ll be required to complete a pre-employment medical check (this will include a drug and alcohol test, sight and hearing, functional and medical component)

Salary: Commencing salary package range circa $60,950 to $73,000 p.a. plus superannuation (negotiable based on skills and experience).
Location: Upon commencement your normal place of work will be the MidCoast Council Gloucester Depot located on Oak Street, Gloucester. You may also be required to be based from other Council sites across the MidCoast Council region.
Tenure: Permanent, Full Time 38 hours per week. 9-day working fortnight.
